This covers both www.satimisook.com and the game at game.satimisook.com.

We are an ice cream shop. We collect as little as we can get away with, and the game is played by small children, which is the fact that decided most of what follows.

No account, and nothing about you

There is no sign-up, no name, no email address, no photograph. There is no box anywhere on the website or in the game that you can type into, so there is nothing you could tell us even by accident. We cannot identify you and we cannot contact you.

What we measure

We use Google Analytics to count how the site and the game are used, so that we can make them better.

On the website, that is which pages are opened and in which language.

In the game, it is how the game is played: the game starting, a customer arriving, which flavours are asked for and chosen, how long an order takes to build, and — the one we care about most — when somebody taps something that does not respond, which tells us that part of the game is confusing.

Alongside those, Google receives your device type, browser and operating system, your approximate location (usually country and city, worked out from your IP address), and a randomly generated number so that several visits in a row can be counted as one person rather than many. That number is not linked to anything else and means nothing outside these two sites. It is kept in two small cookies set by this site itself — one holding the number, one holding the current visit — and in nothing else.

No advertising

Neither the website nor the game shows advertising, and neither ever will. Google's advertising features are switched off explicitly — no advertising storage, no advertising identifiers, no ad personalisation and no Google Signals — so no advertising profile can be built out of a visit here, or out of a child's play. That is also why you were not asked to accept cookies: the only cookies here are the two counting ones described above.

Playing offline

The game keeps its own pictures and sounds on your device, so that it works without an internet connection and can be added to a home screen. Those files stay on the device and are never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's data for the site removes them.

Turning measurement off

Both work exactly the same with measurement blocked. Most browsers have a tracking-protection or content-blocking setting that stops it, and private browsing usually discards the cookie when you close the window.
